The variability in the bands with fast oscillation was less evident on electrodes that were occipital. The central electrode showed less variation in this band. These results suggest that a large portion of the variation in oscillatory power between ADHD and the control group is explained by the lower power in the alpha band.

In adulthood theta/beta ratio and theta/alpha ratio showed stronger group differences than the younger group. Adult ADHD was associated with a higher level of theta/beta.
