Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

Reroll Tokens

Players can roll their equipment in three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrader mod.
