The latest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest and has advanced features like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

It's the only robotic vacuum/mop that has an exemplary 10/10 in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors that include cameras, a structured lighting system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully self-refill and empty its base station and boasts an its own self-cleaning mop pads.

The X40, like other iRobot products, is easy to use. It comes with a simple mobile application interface, and it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only issue is that the X40 still a loud unit. This can be a problem in mornings before work, or in the evening when you're trying to fall asleep.

It's also a bit costly but not as expensive as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally capable and better looking. This is a two-in-one vacuum mop cleaner robot that's very capable however it's more expensive and create more noise.

iRobot L20 Ultra
