She has extensive experience in litigating asbestos-related cases before federal and state courts, as well as before a variety of appellate and supreme court bodies.

During her time at Brobeck, Vogel worked on asbestos cases, including those for respondents to the Asbestos Claims Facility in Northern California. The case files contained SEAR forms (Short Encapsulated Evaluative Reports) that contained confidential information about the plaintiffs, such as medical reports, a history of work and an inventory of asbestos legal-related products that plaintiffs worked with or around. Vogel was required to use access to the files and was able to review the SEAR forms of any case she had with her current employer.
