WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item upgrading by +3. A random extra substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and is accessible anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which displays a preview of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the slot of the item and current item level, with weapons costing more than bracers or gloves, for example. It's also important to use crests with care, since they only have one use. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the Best item upgrade gear you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The account-wide discount is only applicable when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
