A study carried out by Aalto University researchers analyzed children's eye movements during the game of virtual reality to determine if the ML algorithm could identify differences between normal and ADHD children. The results proved that a machine learning algorithm can identify ADHD children.

Another study evaluated machine learning algorithms' efficacy. The results revealed that random forest methods are more effective in terms of robustness and lower risk prediction errors. A permutation test also showed greater accuracy than labels randomly assigned.
