However unlike the i7+ or other top-Highest Rated robot Vacuum robots we test, the i3+ doesn't have a feature for avoiding obstacles which means it can be stuck on things like power cords or socks, and it can have difficulty traversing transitions across surfaces like from hardwood to rug.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, and include getting rid of any toys or clutter it may come across. Also, keep the filters and dust bin free of dirt to prevent them from becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station's dust bin. In our testing the i7+ performed more agile and faster than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces kinds, including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy it self-empties its dust bin that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions, move itself around the room and sweep the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected we were able to give the i7+ voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world full of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an old-fashioned sports car. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.

The V10 is powered by a seven-cell, high-energy lithium-ion battery that can provide fade-free power for 60 minutes. Its advanced whole-machine filtration system traps allergens and releases clean air back into your home. The specialized head uses rigid nylon bristles to penetrate into carpets and collect large dust or crumbs. It has three suction modes to suit the task at hand. It is able to quickly switch from floor vacuum to handheld vacuum, and vice versa.

5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+

In our tests in our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors. It cleaned up 86% of dog hair (on carpet).
