The introduction paragraph is an essential part of any essay. It introduces the topic or question that your essay will examine and provides a reason for your position on it.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide a bonus or extra effect when the equipment is used. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as a reward, or created by crafting materials. Upgrade items can have cosmetic effects in addition to offering bonus points for attributes.

Infusions, inscriptions and enhancements are types of upgrade components. They are not available for general use and are only available on equipment that is ascended or certain weapons that aren't ascended from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be extracted from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device, or salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.

Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade items can be exchanged and reused while still attached to an item that is being upgraded. These upgrade items are the most effective option to boost quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium, as they can increase the odds of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.

Upgrade components can be added to an item, however, the original one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or greater can be upgraded with upgrade components incorporated into them. When you upgrade a weapon that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the new item as it appears in game (for example adding a Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can only have up to three upgrade items at one time.

Glyphs

Glyphs are an excellent addition to any item, as they can provide numerous unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes attached to an item, thereby increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs can be obtained through completing Dungeons. They can also be located in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to keep in mind that glyphs are not available on a character that has not been able to create a root dungeon of the same depth.

To use a Glyph you first have to create it using components and then connect them using anchors. Then, the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph using components, you can create it using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element in the direction of an element highlighted to hold it into place.

Certain glyphs require specific conditions to be met like 25 Dexterity in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate, which can be difficult to attain. Certain glyphs also have a radius that increases as you move up.

Glyphs are able to be applied to many different weapons and objects, except for those belonging to a particular class. Certain glyphs come with additional requirements, like the requirement for a certain amount of damage to Dexterity or Attack damage for a specific portion of the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph gives you an 5% chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has an opportunity of 15% to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

Some glyphs may also be applied to limited tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will count towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.

The most popular glyphs used in the game are the attack ones which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. They are especially beneficial for classes with a range like Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph makes enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. When the reroll occurs, they are thrown away. Reroll tokens are obtained in a variety of ways, such as through the dungeons, raids and skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are especially beneficial in dungeons or trials, as they allow players to reroll rewards at the bottom of the chest.

For items in the range of 1, there are values for recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a specific amount of points each time you recycle an Item upgrader Mod. This value scales based on the item's level and rarity. The upgraded item will also not retain its level if recycled, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item increases as its level increases.

Alternately, players can make use of reroll tokens to make an upgrade item rerollable, but this will not return the item to its original state or provide the original stats. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment they don't love but want to keep in their collection.

There are three different types of upgrade tokens available in the game: reroll random and upgrade. Each type has a few subtypes. Reroll tokens, for instance are available in three types: rare, legendary and enhanced. Each level requires an Best item upgrade from the respective level in order to create the new item of that level.

To make use of rerolling tokens, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select a type of token. The tokens available are Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns and Focus. Using an Item token will produce an entirely new Best item upgrader of any kind. Using the Weapon or Misc token will create a new weapon from the same faction.

There is also a chance that the item will be upgraded to a new item with an increased level and the same stats. This could happen when the item is in the Non-droppable Pool or has been transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
