We were able to test drive the EV9 on a local highway for several hours. We found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive for long distances. The ride is smooth over ruts and bumps, while the EV9 does an excellent job of reducing road noise and wind on the highway. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.
The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully charged within three hours at home or using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. The eco mode prioritizes the torque and cruise control and the sport mode maximizes speed and handling. Both modes are fun to drive and provide a unique experience for those who haven't been in a vehicle with an electrical system before.
