WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrade by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The Item level upgrade upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item however, they are always less expensive than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item upgrade, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon or tool with a button, which will show an item upgrader mod's preview at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For instance, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain degree it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Many locations have upgraders for their items, including the main Island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players finish certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the beginning unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only accessible through a variety of methods. This is both a benefit and an issue.

In Season 3 the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. After an upgrade has been completed to a certain level of item for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is even if the items come from an entirely different set of equipment.

The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade is reduced and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is reduced too, but it is only available after certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests can only be used on equipment of a particular rank, and each rank has its own requirements for upgrading. The simplest and simplest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade requires up to 20 crests, contingent on the type of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be done by doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons with heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan to make. This is particularly true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The account-wide discount will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
