Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses, such as PvE damage and crit chance.

Components

Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players create stronger versions with fewer upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can modify the attack or defense characteristics of a weapon or armor.
