Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners in a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which displays an image of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers, for instance.
