The Advanced Guide To Item Upgrade
World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is a kind of enchantment that improves the stats of certain weapons or armor. This includes secondary statistics such as Leech and Speed.
A special item for evolution that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than other components that are specific to the particular type of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system lets players enhance their items by increasing their level. The increase in level also increases the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Every level upgrade grants an additional bonus based on tier and increases the stat by 3. These bonuses range from +3 bonus to +1 to an unspecified buff.
Each item can be upgraded for a specific amount of times. However, after an upgrade the item can be transferred into a higher-tiered item upgrades which is of equal or greater value.
This method is extremely beneficial for players who want to acquire gear with a certain level of stats before they have the chance to purchase an item level upgrade that is new. Transfer systems allow players to avoid the waste of upgrade material and is easy to use.
Upgrade materials are collected as the player clears their cache of content. They are used to improve or replace an item. Each item requires a different type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are renamed. For example, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is important to upgrade items in order to improve a character's performance. However it is equally important to think about how much this will cost. Every time an item gets upgraded, the upgrade costs an amount of gold that could be better spent on an entirely new piece of equipment. This cost is the reason why it is advisable to upgrade only the most important items in any given situation.
This means upgrading the weapon, followed by the legs, chest and the helm. If the player is able to afford it then upgrading trinkets should be done at this point to increase their proc potential. Upgrades to a top-quality Throne of Thunder item may be worthwhile due to the more damage it can do. Some trinkets, however, aren't worth upgrading until they can offer an upgrade that is important to a certain build. This is especially true for the breakpoint gear that is used for high-value stats like IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is an action that lets players change stats on a weapon, rings or armor based on its type. It can be used to replace bonuses or to create new ones. It can also alter the base power of the item.
Rerolling is a great way to increase your strength in the early stages however it's not required. When you reach your level 6 upgrade goal it's best to go down and look for the Best item upgrade upgrades that you can or save for the next group of items. This will help you have a strong team by the time you get to your goal of upgrading to level 9.
Rerolling is a system that is similar to that of the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to take away any Level Up option and replace it with a different one. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens do not reset the item's level. This means that if you reroll a upgraded item, it won't be at the same level and not be able to benefit from the bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players can make use of a specific mechanism called Eliminate that allows them to eliminate any Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is useful when you've got a bad gacha or need to reroll an item with five stars. To accomplish this, you'll need to create a new account or log in through social media.
Additionally, there's an Occultist in every town which can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is helpful if you have a five-star unit that you would like to improve or an elite four-star character you're struggling with.
Rerolling tokens can be acquired through completing certain quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold, or found in holozons that are dropped in certain dungeons. You can then reroll any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a collection of things that have a certain amount of similarity. You use sets every day, such as a dozen eggs or a set of friends. They are helpful for organizing things and using operations like intersection, union and differences to manage them effectively. Sets are used in many different ways, ranging from organizing music in a playlist to classifying students by their grades.
In Nioh, the game uses sets to give special effects to players when they wear pieces of a specific Armor Set. These bonuses are called Set Bonuses and they are superior to Effects. Although it's not clear in the universe why armor sets need to be worn together to create these extra effects, they do give some variety when playing the game. The armor sets that come with Set Bonuses can be found in many places around Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are associated with each piece of equipment within a Set. You can determine which ones are available by hovering over the item upgrading and examining the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will appear in a red box.
Some of these bonuses are only available for certain pieces of equipment. If you have the complete Phantom Armor set, you will receive +8 defense (instead of the 3 defense you get with most equipment). Other sets can only be obtained through certain quests or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. If you own the entire Kestra's Descent Set, and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the + version of the set's bonus if you soul be able to match them.
Set Bonuses remain the same, despite the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an Item upgrader kit is exemplared too low, the set bonus won't be effective.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that can appear on an item set and grant players a boost in battle. They grant a specific percentage of a certain stat, such as weapon damage or defenses or resistances. However, they cannot stack, and only one will be active at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by how many pieces of the set are worn, so you could have three chests and one armor and four weapons for instance, but only the one that has the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.
They typically enhance the primary stat but some boost secondary stats as well. Defence bonuses increase three positional defence values and two types of defense. For example, a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defenses in your equipment. This is a large increase in your gear, particularly as a melee character.
This is a fantastic feature, and is among the most popular in the game. At present, only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to rise once the update goes live. The bonus will be added to the seven school-specific Dragoons gear, for example.
Set bonuses do not stack within a set however they do stack across sets. This is a great option for players who want to mix sets in the best possible way. However, it does require some planning. Since set bonuses only affect the shell of a piece of equipment (not the armoring, mod or enhancement) You must be careful with your placements.
It is important to note that the amount of the set's bonus won't change even if your exemplar level is greater than three levels lower than the minimum allowed for an Enhancement. This rule does not apply to Purple (Very rare) Sets, PvP Sets and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will function regardless of exemplar level.
