The item upgrade lets players boost the gear rating of an item upgrader mod up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For instance an excellently rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't really change after an upgrade and aren't worth it.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of their base. This is usually a good aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make things unusable, unless you are exceptionally lucky.

Items of armor can also be upgraded to increase their stats. This will increase the defense base of a helm or chest while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading along with the relative value of those stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in a weapon receiving an attack damage of 3. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circular arrows within the menu for items. This will reroll the item and alter its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's level or bind to account status.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make all the difference to your survival. Certain sets offer massive boosts to poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which makes it easier to navigate through tough terrain. The more defense your character is, the more value you can get out of each point of health you possess, so it's important to improve your armor as often as you can.

To upgrade your armor, go to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've done the main side quest and mastered the corresponding fountain, you can then speak to any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, granting the protection needed to survive the full-on assault with a few friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll want to concentrate on enhancing it to increase physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you wear to fight the final boss and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also gain advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have some upgrades of the chest armor and helmets that permit you to sneak past certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed give the user the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five different types of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or in the Alchemist's chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion and the item upgrade's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potions you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI where you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.

Once a potion is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you make use of it again or break the bottle in the container it is stored. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the mechanism of potions. For example, splash potions now have an average duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item). The table of potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that has a purpose but isn't essential as a Thimble. In some traditions, trinkets are used to signify friendship or affection, especially between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other Best item upgrader upgrades trinkets, trinkets can be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a brand new trinket. You can upgrade a trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the old trinket however, it will also come with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded once they're not needed, allowing a player to boost their power and value over time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first, followed by their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment they won't replace in the near future (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding the items to upgrade, players should be aware of their class's preferred statistics. For instance when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank it is recommended that they upgrade their chest, helm, shoulders, and belt.

When they are no longer useful trinkets can be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket has an additional 1percent bonus. However, a re-upgrade can cause the trinket to be destroyed until it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, but is still cheaper than buying a new one.
