8 Tips To Boost Your Item Upgrade Game
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item upgrader by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item upgrader to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Also, when a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item Upgrader kit it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an Best item upgrader.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
