Upgrades to items are an essential element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item upgrading and enhancements.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
