World of Warcraft Upgrades and item Upgrading (fsquan8.cn)

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For example an item with the upgrade template that is ending in % will gain 3% attack damage every time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item upgrader mod. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot for them. The item must have been at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be inserted. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with fewer Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades can be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or buying them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of the item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon a reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be expensive, and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break when it fails. A failed upgrade will destroy the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate possibility of failure, and some upgrades that offer a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in a radius around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as you can to level 15.

You will often find in the endgame that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. These are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded to level 15 and provide a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values it can improve a stat by. The value is displayed when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with another Glyph of the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the various Glyphs and there are some rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in the most important locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for example should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also consider placing them near their most critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components inside them. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets upgraded.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrade an item it will be replaced with an item that is new. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into an weapon or shield once upgraded. The new item also has its own bonus. This could be a drawback, as it can make the item more expensive if you do not need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that is based on a level 1 base and completely different bonuses. This can be useful, but shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times, increasing their value and allowing the player to customize their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the maximum roll by 10 points. This item upgrader is highly useful in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of the non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their available gear--armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The rate of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to go to its initial state, which will force the user to spend more money on materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will be reset to zero. Additionally the item will be deducted any gained bonuses such as crit chance, attack damage, and all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or speed of reload). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost that it will be applied prior to any damage to attack increases. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is computed every time an upgrade item is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to the value of the base item. For example an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. The player will need to take every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the cost listed above.
