Are You Making The Most Of Your Item Upgrade
World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is an enchantment which increases the base stats of certain weapons or armor. This includes tertiary stats such as Leech or Speed.
A special item for evolution that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. It is found at Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be used on any type of equipment and offer less benefits than other components that are equipment type specific.
Leveling
The upgrade system lets players enhance their items by increasing their level. The increase in level also increases the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade items gives an additional bonus based on the tier and increases the stat by a factor of 3. These extras range from a +3 bonus to +1 or a random buff.
Each item is limited to a certain amount of upgrades. After an upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a higher-tiered product of equal or greater worth.
This system is useful for players who want to acquire gear with a certain level of stats prior to purchasing an item upgrader kit that is new. The transfer system enables players to not waste upgrade material and is easy to use.
Upgrade materials are collected as a player clears content and are used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a distinct type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are changed in their names. For instance, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is essential to upgrade items in order to improve a character's performance. However it is equally important to consider how much this will cost. Every time an item upgrader is upgraded, it costs an amount of gold that could be better used on a new piece of gear. This cost is the reason why it is recommended to only upgrade the most essential items in any given scenario.
This typically involves upgrading the weapon first before the chest and legs, then the helm. If the player can afford it upgrading trinkets must be done at this point to increase their potential for procs. Upgrades to a top-quality Throne of Thunder item may be worth it due to the more damage it can cause. Some trinkets, however, aren't worth upgrading until they provide an upgrade that is important to a certain build. This is particularly true of the breakpoint gear that is used for high-value stats like IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is an action that lets players alter the stats of a weapon, rings or armor based on its type. It can be used to add new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also be used to alter the power of the item's base.
Rerolling is an excellent way to increase your strength in the early stages, but it's not necessary. Once you've reached your goal of upgrading to level 6 generally, you should take a step back and locate the best upgrades that you can, or save up for the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a strong lineup when you reach your goal of upgrading to level 9.
The rerolling system is very similar to that of the system of leveling up. Reroll tokens are a way to remove any one Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. Reroll tokens, unlike Level Up do not reset the level of an item upgrader. This means that, if you reroll a upgraded item, it won't be at the same level, and will not have its bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players can utilize a unique technique called Eliminate to remove any Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is a great option if you get a bad gacha result or you want to reroll a five-star model. To do this, you will have to create an account from scratch or sign in via social media.
Similarly, there is an Occultist in each town which can be visited to alter a weapon or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is useful if have a five-star epic unit that you would like to improve or an elite four-star character that you're struggling with.
Rerolling tokens can be acquired by completing certain quests. They can be purchased from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons, which are dropped by certain dungeons. You can then reroll any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock to the desired slot on the page of your unit's.
Sets
A set is a collection of things which have some commonality. Sets are used every day for things like a dozen eggs or a set of friends. They are useful for organizing things and utilizing operations like intersection, union, and difference to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of different ways, ranging from organizing music on a playlist to classifying students by their grades.
In Nioh the game, players utilize sets to offer special effects for players who wear certain pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, known as Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes superior to Effects. While it isn't explained why the armor sets must be worn together in order to generate these additional effects They are a great way to change things up when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found many places around Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment included in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses associated with it. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will tell you which Set Bonuses are offered. The Set Bonuses will appear in an orange box.
Some of these bonuses are only available for specific pieces of equipment. For instance, if you purchase the full Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the normal +3 defense that comes with most equipment). Other sets are available only through certain quests or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. If you own the entire Kestra's Descent Set and the corresponding parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the + version of the set's bonus if you be able to match the two sets.
Contrary to Effects which change every when you upgrade them, Set Bonuses stay the same even when the pieces of equipment they are connected to increase in. If an item is exemplared to levels that are not enough the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects which can be found on an item set and give players a boost in battle. They give a certain percentage of a specific stat, such as weapon damage or defenses or resistances. They don't stack however, only one of them will be active at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces of the set are used which means you can have three chests and one armor and four weapons, for instance. but only the one that has the most bonus will benefit you.
They typically enhance the primary stat but some increase secondary stats too. Defence bonuses increase three positional defence values and two types of defense. For example the five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defense in your equipment. This is a large increase in your gear, specifically as melee characters.
This is an extremely useful feature, and it seems to be among the more popular in the game. Currently, only a few gear sets come with set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update is live. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will be getting its bonus added as soon as the update is live.
While Set Bonuses cannot stack within the same set, they can stack with other sets. This is great for players looking to combine sets in the best possible way. However, it does require a bit of planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, therefore you should be aware when putting them.
It is important to know that the strength of the set's bonus won't change regardless of whether your exemplar level is greater than three levels lower than the minimum level that is allowed for an enhancement. This rule doesn't apply to purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, PvP Sets or Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the exemplar level.
