Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to double pushchair 3 wheeler stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is able to be set up into a triple-travel system by adding a bench or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the top-rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It has an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, and comes with a belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there's a footwell adjuster button to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious, but we wish it had a latch that is more secure. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers are a bit annoying because they need to be unfastened and then put back in place after every use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is a step up from the toe-pinch levers that many of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller in our review that accepts two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or for parents with just one child and a new baby due. It can be used with all major brands' infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great option for families that already have a car seat but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
