Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased Best item upgrade (experienced) such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons and spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

Growthstones

Leveling

The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added and a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. The helm upgrade item "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item upgrader you want to upgrade.
