5 Reasons Item Upgrade Is Actually A Beneficial Thing
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you'll need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item upgrades's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item level upgrade's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item upgrader kit (official statement) with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the Best item upgrader an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item upgrading the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade item. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
