Path of Exile item upgrader mod (Hebian`s blog) Upgrades

The performance of a variety of Path of Exile items can be enhanced by upgrading the performance of them. They can be a fantastic source of extra damage, more AD or even more attaches.

Often times however, upgraded Common and Magic gear is beaten out by Rare-grade gear because of their high requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a type of upgrade that can be applied to armor and weapon items. They increase the effectiveness of the item they're attached to. Armor upgrades are found in the world of the game and can be purchased from Blacksmiths at any bonfire. Alternatively, they can also be rescued from items with upgrade components in them using an expert or greater salvage kit.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it will take on. The ability to absorb damage of a piece armor will increase when it's upgraded to its maximum upgrade level. However, it's important to keep in mind that this will increase its weight, causing it to be heavier than it was before.

There are many different kinds of armor upgrades available in the game. Each one has a distinct effect. For instance, some upgrades give the armor a certain number of health points while others will make it stronger and lighter. The type of armor upgrade that an item can receive is indicated by the name of the upgrade, as shown in the table below.

Some upgrades also feature magic or a hybrid of technology and magic, which is shown by an "Magic" or "Hybrid" entry in the table below. Furthermore, some upgrades require a charge to use, and are identified by an "Charges" entry in the table below. These charges are either updated daily or never expire based on the upgrade.

The cheapest method to upgrade armor is by using Iron Ore, which can be found through exploring the surroundings and looting chests of minor loot. Titanium is more expensive but is readily available at the smelters of Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Certain upgrades, such as the Reforge or the Hot Potato Books can only be applied to armor pieces of the highest level. These upgrades can provide significant improvements in performance and are worth the investment, especially for 1-handed weapons.

A piece of armor upgraded to max upgrade level will dramatically increase its defense capabilities but the wearer must be aware that putting more weight on it will drastically reduce its speed and agility. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to upgrade armor pieces that are higher than +9 because the increase in defense is usually not worth the extra weight and power cost of the upgrades needed.

Weapons

Weapon upgrades allow players the ability to improve certain aspects of their weapon. Upgrades can boost the accuracy of a rifle, or the damage that shotgun shells cause. Certain firearms also have enhancements that enhance their intrinsic characteristics. Frictionless materials (improves stability, reduces the risk of the risk of overheating) and Kinetic coils (increases the projectile's velocity to cause more damage) are two examples.

The majority of upgrades to weapons require three Power Dices, a different amount of Minerals and Erons and a whetblade to apply. These are obtained through either completing Side Quests, killing a certain amount of bosses or monsters, or through the Weapon Upgrade NPC located in Central Flarine.

Upgrades to a weapon, equipment Set piece, or Whetblade requires visiting the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine and paying her an upgrade cost of a certain number of Bars. The higher the upgrade level, the more bars required to complete it. If you have multiple upgrade materials the cost of upgrading will be lower.

In Chapter 2: Season 5, the way you upgrade your equipment and weapon sets was a bit different. Previously you could search for an Upgrade Bench and pay for a specific number of Bars to upgrade items your weapon or equipment to an increased level of rarity. You could continue to do this until you reached a maximum upgrade level for your equipment or weapon, after which upgrades would reset.

You can still do this however, the process is high on RNG and low on agency. Instead, you're better off going to stores and buying gear with low upgrade levels, but good base scores and stat distributions. They will also have a better chance of bringing you the most prestigious perks and blessings.

To level up faster, most players will prioritise upgrading their weapons. Additionally players, they should think about upgrading the weapons they use with their squadmates to make them more powerful as well. Shepard for instance, should upgrade the M92F so that he can unlock the Beretta M93R. This will increase the effectiveness of the weapon when used in conjunction with biotic specialists like Grunt and Tali.

Jewels

Jewels can be used to increase a stat or provide secondary effects in armor and weapons. They can be made through a process called jewelry crafting, which is where you combine a gem and various reagents at a jewelry table. The higher the grade of the jewel has, the more powerful its secondary effect. These reagents are available from Treasure Goblins and World Bosses all over the world, or through finding Legendary Gear. You can also buy them from The Jeweler in exchange for Scattered Prisms and gold.

The Jeweler can improve the quality of a gem in stages ranging from Crude up to Royal. The stat boosts will vary depending on the tier the jewel is in when it is inserted into jewelry, weapons or equipment.

All tiers of jewels are crafted at the Jeweler however, there are some exceptions to this, such as the rare and legendary jewels which require you to be at a certain level to obtain them. Jewels can be replaced by another one without damaging the original. However, you can only replace the jewels in an item upgrader of equipment only once.

Using more jewels in a move will make it feel smoother and is typically used to enhance the aesthetics of the movement. In addition to enhancing performance, the jewels create an area that is stronger than steel, so the repeated friction from pivots doesn't damage them as easily.

A Glyphmaster can provide glyphs to enhance the appearance of your shields and weapons. These are a small perk and can be swapped freely however they aren't guaranteed to drop as loot. Glyphs can be upgraded as jewelry, by visiting the Jeweler for gold, and also a Scattered Crystal. Glyphs can also be removed and returned to the inventory. Other upgrade components like traits or aegis cannot be swapped, and can only be recovered by using an Upgrade extractor or salvaging using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage tool.

Trinkets

Trinkets are items of equipment that offer an array of tiny but valuable benefits to your hero. You can find them in the start-up area as loot or personal story rewards. They are also available from vendors and by doing road interaction. They can be found on the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.

The first trinket a player will be able to unlock is the cloak. It provides a tiny but beneficial boost in speed of movement and the ability to evade. The player will then be able to acquire rings, amulets and necklaces in a similar fashion to how they acquired weapons and armor. Each piece of equipment has a slot for an upgrade that is either universal or jewel. Universal upgrades are smaller and are able to be used on any device. Jewels are not upgradeable or replaced and are only compatible with certain trinkets.

These trinkets also grant additional bonuses and abilities that are active even when the character is not in combat. This lets the hero perform better when they are not active and may also help fill in the void of a solid team or the absence of any slots from the talent tree that normally are filled with hero's ideal stats.

As a rule trinket upgrades should be a priority BiS (Best in Slot) items that you will not replace soon. Next, any items with desirable statistics that aren't as significant as the iLevel of the item that is to be upgraded. This is especially true when you are looking to upgrade multiple statistics on an item upgrading. It's more beneficial to upgrade a single important stat than two less important ones.

Jungle players often upgrade their yellow trinket to a red one at the beginning of the game. Top and mid players on the other hand will pick either a pink or green ward, depending on the game's matchup. These choices will have a significant impact on the hero's abilities to control maps.

Apart from the items mentioned above, players can find a number of other trinkets throughout the game in the form of awards and trophies. They can be obtained by completing certain milestones within the story. For instance, finishing the main quest of a chapter or beating an opponent. These can be viewed by selecting the relevant achievement from the reward tab of the hero menu.
