World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the item's current level. The cost increases as the item upgrader mod level rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor in order to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used one time; they can't be used multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment as well as the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment using less Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear, or by buying them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know what will be improved following the reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be expensive and it is likely that the item will be obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that double or even eliminate possibility of failure, and a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes within the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in a variety of ways, and we recommend getting them up to level 15 as soon as you can.

You will often find in the endgame that putting Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs, and there are also a few rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus which will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, so it is Best item upgrade to put Glyphs in strategic locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also consider placing them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the performance of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is commonly known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of crafting tables. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an Best item upgrade. When enough points have been earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor will receive a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a disadvantage since the item may increase in price even if you don't need it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens in order to do so. This causes the item to be traded for a new one, with a level 1 base and a completely different set of bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it's not something that should be done regularly, as it could waste lots of resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or does not swim as a dolphin). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is extremely valuable in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth as much as 50x the value of the non-upgraded version.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

Each item upgrader kit can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear which can be upgraded up to eight times. Every each time you upgrade an item, it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you go beyond the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to return to its initial state which means that the player has to pay for more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. In addition the item will lose any bonuses it gained, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or reload speed). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for example, a common equipment item could have five upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items might have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For instance they may require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Whatever the case, players will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade to equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the costs that are listed above.
