What Is Item Upgrade And Why Is Everyone Dissing It
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by melee and weapons, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Growthstones

Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
