15 Item Upgrade Benefits Everyone Should Be Able To
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item level upgrade of equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade items. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as the number of upgrade Item tokens.
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade item component that you want to put into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
