Cheap Single pushchair single push chair Pushchairs
The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and don't need an extra stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.
It's also easy to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also easy to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to effortlessly traverse all types and terrains'.
The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack are combined to create a chic pushchair with a delicate, elegant aesthetic. The frame itself weighs just under a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it from the box (and do so one-handed).
It's also easy to attach or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors such as the hood, for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 by clicking and is machine washable to help deter staining from rice cakes that have been smashed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months by using the YOYO connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents looking for an adaptable stroller. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller to an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then choose the best single travel stroller mode for their journey. The wagon can be used by two or more children from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket to accommodate everything you need on the go.
The Xplore also has two canopies that rotate from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or napping.
The frame of the Xplore is solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models, and it does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.
3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.
It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger sunshades.
The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and no components required tools. It is missing certain features we believe are essential in a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is the newest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry baby from birth up to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot by just only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible baby carriage.
It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child out and in quickly. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without a hitch.
The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or let them swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. When we walked through the stony trail, we let them swivel and it did this quite well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models on test.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler best single jogging stroller pushchairs, but they also make a good range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.
It is heavier than the other strollers we tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.
The carrycot and the seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other prams' hoods which get turned back into toddlers' faces.
It's not a lot of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of many parents when it first came out. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, like the capacity of the seat to be turned between the parent and the world and a huge UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.
The chassis comes with a built-in suspension system that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets with ease.
It folds in just four steps and locks automatically without hassle. It can also stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes travel system ready with the option to include a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are one action and are color coded. They also work with flip-flops.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget pushchair single is easy to use and has a great dual suspension. It can be folded with one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It is also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for infants.
The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors, which can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.
The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and works with some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be facing each other or rotate around to face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling disputes over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large tray for gears, a bottle holder and snack tray. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal stroller for parents who like to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. It also has great safety features, including the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It also comes with a twist hand brake which is different from the lever type used on rival models.
The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit, but the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin has an open-top cover that can be closed to keep things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. It is enough for the majority of diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and comes in a variety of languages.
