Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing the power of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to the base value of your item.
Each upgrade template comes with a set of options which can be changed through the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the upgrading chance.
Upgrade components
The system for upgrading weapons, armor and other equipment in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. The game will show a preview of the expected stats for the item upgrader kit after upgrading. It will also display the component or material required. If you do not have the required component or resource to upgrade the item, then the button will read "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor as well as a few trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on all of these items can be filled with various upgrades that give you bonus points or other effects while the equipment is in use. These upgrades are available by crafting, purchased from a merchant or taken from the loot.
There are two types of upgrade components such as universal upgrades and gems. Infusions can be inserted into legendary or upgraded equipment. Enrichments are only obtainable using a high-quality salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.
Recycled items
During the last two world wars, a shortage of natural resources led the world to adopt recycling. Recycling things like aluminum paper, plastic and even paper is commonplace. They get a new lease on life. Recycling actually reduces energy consumption and helps prevent carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. It's also a good method to avoid landfills and conserve natural resources. However, it is crucial to know what can and cannot be recycled.

Click the dice icon beside the item upgrade in your Inventory to roll it again. You can also hit the button in another player's lobby and choose "Reroll". After rolling the item, it will disappear from your collection.
Rerolls can be purchased as well as other items in-game from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. By redeeming active codes, you will enable you to get free rerolls in Fire Force Online. These codes can be exchanged for a variety of items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls can be useful in the beginning stages of the game, when you have to build up your inventory and dungeon gear. However, they are not the most effective way to increase your character's stats. The NPC will display the cost to upgrade the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included, if applicable. If you own an Accelerator, it will include the cost. Accelerators can be purchased via the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained by an upgrade by 50 percent. However this bonus does not apply to the item's Quality Chance which is resets once the item reaches its target level.
The Upgrade NPC also provides the option of transferring gear. This will allow players to save the experience and progress in upgrading a piece of gear and transfer it to a different item that is in the same slot. This is useful for players who want to change their gear, but do not have enough currency to buy a new set.
