Why Item Upgrade Is Still Relevant In 2024

From VSt Wiki

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item upgrader for another of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the level of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.

The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item level upgrade that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the Best item upgrade's current level and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at once. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be added, as well as an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. In the same way, once an item upgrader kit (learn here) is on an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an Best item upgrade will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.

Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
