The Luck stat of a player stacks up to increase the likelihood of finding items, the properties spawned on loot drops, and the intensity of these properties. It doesn't, however, directly affect damage or the ability to upgrade items. It merely gives the player a chance to acquire better equipment earlier in the game, and is therefore more beneficial in early game runs than in later ones, because most players value higher weapon scaling and defenses over damage gains.

In addition to influencing the discovery of items, Luck also increases the chances of being successful when upgrading items using the Blacksmith. This isn't to be confused with the Blacksmith’s overall chance of upgrading, which increase with each new level of item. They can also be increased with the use of anti-materials, such as a Scroll of Strength and a Jewel of Blessing.

Weapons, shields, and armor can spawn or be crafted by using the Luck property, which has an initial value of 40. These items can be enhanced with golden ingots, spined leather or oak boards (depending on the item's material type) to grant a further +40 Luck or to boost the luck of an item, up to 140.

Certain items, like the weapon that is infused with hollow can also be crafted to increase the damage dealt by any ability that is able to deal damage by 5%. These items can be purchased in the shop, or they can be crafted using the right ingredients.
