Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor to provide them with a boost in stats or an extra effect. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment that has a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times.
