Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. They also increase bonuses like PvE damage and crit chance.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide a stat bonus or extra impact while they're being used. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before a component can be applied. Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board.
