Item Upgrading: 11 Thing You re Leaving Out
World of Warcraft Upgrades and item upgrader kit (you could look here) Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will increase 3percent of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.
The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases with the Best item upgrade's level.
Components
Upgrade components can be incorporated into weapons, armor and trinkets in order to provide them with a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them. The item must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade may be prefixed or a suffix changing the name of the item to which it is used (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level with normal methods.
A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear, or by buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals per.
Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of an item will be dropped in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of how much it will improve following a subsequent reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly, and there is a high possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs buff the effectiveness of all nodes in their radius as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded many ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 whenever you can.
In the endgame, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.
Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.
Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the many Glyphs and there are some rare glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.
Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.
Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, therefore it is recommended to place Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for example should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.
Leveling
The item upgrade system allows players to boost the power of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each Best item upgrader level requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.
Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. Once enough points are earned, you will be able to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.
When a player upgrades an item it is replaced with a new item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own. This could be a drawback, as it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not need it.
If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item upgrading. The item upgrader mod will be replaced by the same item, but it has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This can be useful for certain items, however it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it can use up lots of resources.
Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, allowing the player to customize their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). The item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is highly valuable in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.
Requirements
The upgrader for items allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, weapons, and trinkets) above ilvl385 by presenting the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also improve the strength of their base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal as well as the required strength and dexterity.
All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear which can have eight upgrades. Each each time you upgrade an item it has the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state which means that the player has to spend additional items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.
If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned like chances to be crit damage to attack, additional effects (such as increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.
When an item upgrades is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item might have 5 upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.
Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade requires the use of different ingredients needed to upgrade.
