Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop makes a great option for those who live in apartments as it has smaller docking systems and carries its own rubbish bin. The app lets you choose different modes and monitor the cleanliness, plus the mopping feature is awe-inspiring.
Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, while it is able to mops extremely well cleaning up pet hair, spillages, and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans, and refills its tank.
Roomba iRobot Combination
The iRobot Combo is a robot that can autonomous vacuum and mop. The iRobotCombo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It scrubs more, and has an app that's mobile and more user-friendly but it's an excellent alternative. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it still managed to prevent most collisions with furniture and clutter.
The Combo has many of the same smarts that the j7 Plus has, such as an onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor type and AI-powered Navigation, but it's not able to set suction power manually. It's also a little smaller than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have an auto-empty dock.
The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also among the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the glossy or metallic finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as a leather tab for opening the bin on board and a shelf that can hold extra bags inside the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.
Roborock
Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already established a name for itself thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction capabilities, while mopping systems from the company include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. You can also modify the bot's cleaning routine by using a variety and mapping features.
Another outstanding Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects lower than its height. This is especially useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into furniture and run over pet faeces, without even noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using a Reactive AI system that uses twin cameras to perceive objects in the room.
Roborock robots are equipped with a variety of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. These include docks that can be auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with multiple functions. These features eliminate the need to empty the dust bins or wash mops manually, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is simple to use thanks to its easy-to-use design and lag-free connection with the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
With a variety of cleaning options and advanced mopping features the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five technologies to design and follow the most efficient route. It can also detect different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even lift itself 7mm to glide across carpets. Smart spray system is able to use just the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving water marks.
The Legee is a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both models cost more. It has more features than either of them and has a more flexible, D-shaped body that is able to clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round one. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) 4 forward-facing sensors and 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors both front and rear (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to reduce the bump-andgrind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 robots.
In contrast to other robots, the Legee features an integrated trash compactor that supports the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop washing station is included and is able to wash, refill and dries your mop 'cloth. This means that you can use it up to six times longer than with other mop cloths. It also reduces waste and frequency of bin emptying.
Karcher RCV 5
Popular for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a while, and this is the brand's most technologically advanced model. Powered by LiDAR, it creates maps of your home that can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It also differentiates between carpets and hard floors to ensure that you don't end up with puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is superb that can avoid furniture or rugs easily. It can also lift itself over steps. The machine is customizable with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules and rooms it is expected to clean. It also comes with an emergency button that will make the robot return to its base when it is running out of power and can be programmed to automatically shut itself off if the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, while hefty at nearly 4kg, it's not difficult to maneuver around furniture. Safety features like a sensor that alerts you to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by those with small children. After being charged the device will take only a few hours to charge, and the two buttons on the top will turn green to signal that it is now ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that balances modern cleaning technology with affordability. It is a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's top-selling Q Revo. Despite its price being lower, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models aren't able to match. It makes use of sensors to adjust the settings to different floors and surfaces, as well as to detect dirtier areas. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.
You can also see the map of your home in the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects you want the vacuum to stay away from. The vacuum will slow down when it detects an obstacle, and will stop from crashing into it. It also comes with an intelligent dustbin, that alerts you to the fullness of the bin so you can empty the bin on time.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable choice for those looking to outsource their everyday cleaning chores. It has dual functionality as a robot vacuum and mop that lets you keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It also has a clever design that increases corner cleaning efficiency by as much as 60 percent. It has suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, and can be controlled by the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a fashionable and well-equipped hybrid robot vacuum with mop vacuum/mop that does an excellent job of keeping floors spick and span. It isn't able to lift its mops to clean carpets and rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good in cleaning hard floors. It also comes with a self-emptying bin that provides a good level of suction power, provides a number of mopping options and is controlled by a top-quality app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.
It's a little smaller than the other models and its main brush is shorter but it still managed an impressive job in our test room. The edge brush that rotates on the side is a nice addition. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it still performed well.
The robot can be programmed to have individual cleaning parameters for each room. It will then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control via the app and a variety of voice output options can keep you informed of the condition of your home robot. Regular software updates enhance and enhance the performance. The app is able to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
