The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the glossy or metallic finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as a leather tab for opening the bin on board and a shelf that can hold extra bags inside the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already established a name for itself thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction capabilities, while mopping systems from the company include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. You can also modify the bot's cleaning routine by using a variety and mapping features.

Another outstanding Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects lower than its height. This is especially useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into furniture and run over pet faeces, without even noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using a Reactive AI system that uses twin cameras to perceive objects in the room.
