Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses like crit chance and PvE damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will be able to gain 3percent of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to provide them with a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them. The item must be at the very least upgraded to blue level for a component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a special type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than would be required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will be revealed in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure how much it will be improved after an update.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be costly, and there is a high risk that the item may be obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, including any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

In the final game you'll find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded up to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most popular. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Using the Glyph can boost all nodes connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but you should also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to boost the effectiveness of certain items by introducing upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different number of components to be reached and the cost of upgrading increase as the item upgrade is leveled up.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of crafting tables. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns some Technology Points. These points can be used for the upgrading of an item level upgrade. When enough points have been earned, you will be able to claim the upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player it is replaced with a new item of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could be more expensive even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced by the same item level upgrade, but it has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful for some items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it can use up a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as dolphins). This item can be upgraded many times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item can be very valuable in PvP as the best version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the level of their available gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader (click the next website page) NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times except for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will result in the item returning to its initial state, which requires the player to purchase more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonus it earned, including crit chance and attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

Whenever an item upgrader mod is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost that it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is computed every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade--for example, a common equipment item might have 5 upgrades, each costing 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade requires a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
