20 Things You Need To Be Educated About Item Upgrading

World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade item of an item upgrader kit allows players to boost the gear rating of an item upgrader kit (click here for more info) by up to 700 points and add a bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading because of their distinctive stats. (For instance the perfect rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't change much after an upgrade and aren't worth it.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. They also have a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. In some cases this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity as well as its current level. For example an item upgrader mod with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue to increase until it is required to use an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.

Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is usually a positive aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're very lucky.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to improve their performance. This will increase the defense of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These will boost their required strength and agility. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it is able to reduce its value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain after upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that the weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will strike for 3 fewer times as it is an absolute statistic.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button that has arrows that circle in the item level upgrade menu. This will roll an item and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels or connect it to an account's status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make a huge differences in your ability to endure. Certain sets offer massive boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which makes the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the greater health you'll get from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four of them each of which requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll need at anything from three to five Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a handful of friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll need to work on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power in the case of a Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still wear by the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. It's nevertheless beneficial to have some upgrades for the helmets and chest armor so that you can get around a few monsters.

Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed give the player the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five types of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. Alternatively, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding glowstone dust or redstone to the potions.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by crafting them using a craft table or the chest of the Alchemist. However, the upgrade price is dependent on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potions, right-click it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This opens an GUI in which you can select the potions you wish to upgrade and the amount of XP they will yield when upgraded. The upgrade of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade until you use it again or break the bottle it is stored in. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the way potions are used. For instance the splash potions now have an average duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display for the item). The table for potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can now be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. This is the same for the use of a potion in the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the potion and refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be a small ornament or object that has a purpose but is not important such as a thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket can be used to express affection or friendship between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons and armor, as well as potions. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new trinket. A player can upgrade a trinket with as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl of the previous one, and will come with an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Trinkets can be upgraded when they are no longer useful which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

In general, players should upgrade their top-priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first, followed by their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment they won't replace anytime soon (such as a ring or an cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when choosing which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.

After they've become unusable, trinkets can be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket comes with an additional bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade can ruin the previous trinket, unless it is saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, but is still cheaper than buying a new one.
