And, if you need to, you can swap the mopping pad for a dry one in just a few seconds.
2. IRobot Roomba
The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming capabilities into a compact, sleek package. Its intelligent cleaning maps as well as quick navigation make it easy to clean, and efficient in dealing with larger particles like pet hair. It also features a powerful suction and an automatic bin for emptying. It's the most efficient robot hoover for carpets, though it isn't as efficient as some of its competitors in deep cleaning.

3. iRobot Roomba X40
With an elegant circular design that looks like a regular Roomba rather than the boxy units, this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most appealing looking in our evaluations. The latest model from iRobot is its most advanced and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).
It's the only robotic mop or vacuum to score 100% in our tests thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, including cameras, a structured lighting system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could refill and empty its basestation on its own. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mop mops.

It comes with a multi-function dock that will automatically empty the vacuum's bin, refills the water tank, and washes and dry mop pads.
The smart robot employs an array of LIDAR and structured light to draw out floor plans and identify obstacles, navigating more intelligently than its top rivals. It also has a front-mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards, although this wasn't quite foolproof in our testing and was sometimes confused by power cords or other obstructions.
The vacuum cleaner has an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to accomplish the task. It also comes with an option called "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the vacuum's power and adjusts cleaning frequency for various areas of the house based on how dirty the areas tend to be.
