All Nespresso machines must be descaled at the very least once a year. The company claims it's easy to do this, and there are alerts on the machine that indicate when it's time. The brand also sells descaling kits that allow for an approach that is hands-off.

5. The Creatista Pro

If you're a Nespresso lover who enjoys milk-based coffees, the Creatista Pro may be a good choice for you. Similar to its sibling, the Creatista Plus, it offers different beverage options and is easy to use. The milk frother is automated and self-cleaning. It can also be used to manually alter the texture of the milk and temperature as desired. The result is a smooth, frothy milk that is perfect for lattes as well as cappuccinos.

This Original Line machine uses Nespresso Vertuo pods. It can make espresso in three different sizes, or milk-based drinks such as cappuccinos and latte macchiatos. It is easy to use and comes with large LED displays and buttons labeled for each drink type. It also has the barista-style steam wand as well as a jug for milk, which is much easier to clean than conventional integrated frothers on many Nespresso machines.

The Creatista Pro may be a little more expensive than other models, but it's a premium machine. It's simple to use and looks beautiful on your counter. It also comes with a complimentary Tamper and reusable capsules which will save you money in the long run.
