World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade of an item allows players to increase the gear score of an item level upgrade up to 700 and add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading because of their distinctive stats. (For instance, a perfectly broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons don't really change after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. A lot of weapons also come with a fixed bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a unit. In some instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon can sustain by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the weapon will continue to increase until it is required to use an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. This is generally a positive factor, but it could also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make things impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.

Items of armor can also be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. For instance, if you have chests or helms this will increase the defense of its base, while gloves and belts will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also offers a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it may roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will get when upgraded, along with their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button within the Item upgrader kit menu with the arrows that circle. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make a huge differences in your ability to survive. Certain sets can offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poison, fire, and magic. This makes it easier to get through difficult areas. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the more health you'll receive from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a special side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees needed for each will vary. It is possible to use anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to an increase of 5 defense rating, which will allow you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a lot of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to withstand a rout with your friends.

You can't upgrade your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or the power of spells. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still wear at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock some perks on your armor. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to beat the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer However, it is useful to have some upgrades to your chest armor and helmets that let you stealthy battle certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, give the player with a temporary effect. There are five types of potions, each with a specific set of effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. In addition, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the upgrade price is dependent on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI which allows you to select the potions that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle in which it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change the name of the potion.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the mechanics of potions. Splash potions for instance are now available with a time of 0:08 instead of the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display for the item upgrader kit. The table of potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be combined in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio in a cauldron that is full drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

There are also simmering potions made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The potion table is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, like the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose, but is not particularly important, such as a thimble. In some cultures a trinket can be used to show affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Trinkets unlike other items that can be upgraded, can be swapped at will without losing statistics.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades to trinkets are an affordable alternative to buying an entirely new one. One can upgrade item their trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl of the old one, and will come with an additional upgrade items bonus of 1.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they are no longer needed, allowing a player to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are an extremely popular alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their highest priority items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, followed by their secondaries, and finally other gear items that will not be replaced in the near future (for instance, a ring or cloak). When deciding on the items to upgrade, players should consider the class's preferred stats. For instance If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks, they should prioritize upgrading their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and helm.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they are no longer useful and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional upgrade item bonus of 1. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than buying a new one.
