We were allowed to test drive the EV9 on a local highway for greenpower mobility several hours. We found it easy to drive and comfortable to drive for long distances. The ride is smooth over bumps and ruts, while the EV9 does an excellent job of suppressing road noise and wind on the highway. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.
