What Item Upgrade Experts Want You To Learn
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or rings. This replaces the item with an identical item however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded Best item upgrader onto the new gear.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single Best item upgrade at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be applied, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Likewise, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounts.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the Best item upgrader.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader (click through the following document) NPC.
