Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you require an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
