Why Twin Stroller Is Fast Becoming The Hottest Trend Of 2023
Best Twin Stroller For Newborns
If you're expecting twins, or have two children who are similar in age, a double stroller is essential. The best double strollers offer multiple ways to ride for your children, including side by side seating and an attachment for boards.
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's top stroller. It can be adapted to the needs of your family seamlessly. It can hold two infant car seats as well as an infant seat which makes it a great option for twins starting at birth.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the best double stroller for families who are looking for a stylish, side-byside double stroller. It is a little larger than the other Bugaboo models, but it feels sturdy and built to last. It comes with a handlebar that can be adjusted to retract and extend easily. It has a long reach so my husband, who is 6'1" can easily push it, even when it is full of weight.
The seats are large and can be positioned to place one child behind the other or have children facing each one. The seats can recline independently from each other. The canopies cover both fabric seats, if desired. However, they don't offer adequate ventilation, so they could feel like a small double stroller oven on hot days. There is no peek-a-boo to see your children.
One of the most unique features of this stroller is its capacity to adapt to your family's needs from one seat (Mono mode) all the way to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only stroller that can be converted that can do this! It can even be used with an additional bassinet or car seat for babies.
It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. The only issue is that it could be difficult to navigate through the midst of crowded restaurants and shops. It is difficult to fold the seat back, especially if it's attached. It's still pretty compact, and is able to fit through most doors easily.
In mono mode, there's a storage bin next to the front seats. This is ideal for groceries and other things. The main storage basket underneath the seats is big and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista v2
This stroller is among the best twin strollers designed for newborns. It is compatible with a variety of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller right out of the box. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters allow you to use two infant car seats at the same time.
Compared to the original Vista, the V2 has made a few improvements to make it better. The toddler seat is now raised by half an inch, the footrest is bigger and the canopy comes with an extra fabric extension that zips out. The harness is also modernized since it doesn't need to be re-threaded. This makes it much easier to adjust.
The stroller has reasonably large wheels (8 in the front and 11.5 inches in the back) with strong suspension, so it is able to handle all kinds of terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber which makes them suitable for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones, while the rear wheels have more tread to conquer paths and grassy hills.
Another great feature is the ability to connect a child's bike to the front of the stroller, which can be an excellent option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand, the Vista stroller can fit a third child with its piggyback board accessory.
Vista is a simple device to use. Vista is easy to use and set up, although it does take some time to remove all of the protective packaging. The instructions are simple to follow, and there is an YouTube video to help if you require help understanding them.

The tandem double stroller's wheels and suspension ensure a smooth ride on all types of terrain, while the 1-touch linked rear brakes with toe-tap activation make stopping a breeze.
In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for its ease of use. This metric is based on how simple it is to set up and fold the stroller and to adjust the safety harness, open and close the snack tray, engage and disengage the brakes, lift and carry the stroller like you would put it into a trunk, and for double strollers compatible install and remove the infant car seat.
The model has a few flaws. First, it's heavy. It weighs in at 36.6 pounds when fully loaded, which is closer to the extreme end of our metric, and is heavier than the average for this category of strollers. It also has a limited view from the back seat when the car seat is in place. Additionally the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, particularly when used for a long time. However, despite these issues, we still think this is a great double stroller that will be able to keep up with your family for many years to come.

This stroller has independently reclining seats for maximum comfort. Its canopy is large and offers UPF 50 protection and also comes with an open view for easy monitoring. We'd like to see the canopy ventilated to allow for more airflow, though. We weren't a fan of the fact the fact that the cup holder is very high up on the frame. You'll need to bend down to reach it.
In our tipping test, the Jeep fell over with only 39 degrees of angle which is a bit higher than the average for a double stroller. It's a bit heavier and has more storage space for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.
The stroller is a versatile model with three modes that include wagon (just for things) and the jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses designed for children) and car seat mode. It can accommodate a single car seat for infants. However, pediatricians advise that you wait until your child is six months old to run with them.
